Exports internal integration privacy notice

Effective 4 November 2026

This notice explains how TradePulse uses information through Exports, its internal QuickBooks Online importer built with Google Apps Script and Google Sheets. Exports supports TradePulse’s own financial reporting and reconciliation. Only authorised TradePulse staff may use the integration; it is not a public customer application.

Information accessed

Depending on the import being run, Exports accesses financial reports, accounts, customer and supplier records, invoices, payments, bills, credits, purchases, deposits, journals and transfers from TradePulse’s connected QuickBooks Online company account. These records may include names, contact details, transaction descriptions, dates, amounts, balances and record identifiers where present in the source data.

The connection also uses OAuth credentials and tokens to authorise access to QuickBooks Online.

Purpose

TradePulse uses imported records for internal financial reporting, reconciliation and related checks of its own accounting information. Access is intended for staff whose responsibilities require those records.

Storage and access

Imported records are stored in the designated Google spreadsheet. The importer runs in Google Apps Script. OAuth credentials and tokens are stored in Apps Script Properties, separately from spreadsheet cells.

Spreadsheet and script permissions must be restricted to authorised staff. Script editors can access stored credentials, so script-editing access requires particular care. The integration’s intended workflow does not publish accounting records or connection credentials on the TradePulse website.

Disconnecting QuickBooks

Local disconnection removes the stored connection tokens and stops imports. It does not remove previously imported spreadsheet records. Intuit app access can also be revoked through QuickBooks Online. Removing spreadsheet data alone does not disconnect the integration or revoke its QuickBooks authorisation.

Imported copies and deletion requests

To request deletion of imported records, email hello@tradepulse.io and identify Exports and the records or reporting period concerned without including sensitive accounting data in the initial request. Requests are reviewed by TradePulse’s Legal team, which will verify the request and the requester’s authority, identify the imported copies concerned, and confirm what can be removed and any applicable recordkeeping requirements. Removal of additional copies or backups, if any, must be addressed separately.

Deleting imported copies from Google Sheets does not delete the original QuickBooks Online records. The importer’s code does not create, edit or delete QuickBooks transactions. Any request concerning original accounting records must be handled separately by the authorised QuickBooks account administrators.

Contact

For privacy, access, disconnection or deletion questions, email hello@tradepulse.io and identify the request as relating to “Exports — internal QuickBooks integration”. Do not submit financial records, spreadsheet links, credentials or tokens in your initial message.
